Located in beautiful Chaska, Minnesota, The Modern Silo Collective is a family-owned and run business that has been in operation since 2014.
What started as a creative hobby making award displays for founder Tinley’s son and his teammates quickly turned into an Etsy shop. And with a background in event planning, Tinley soon added a wedding line to the shop. As the company grew, a few more family members got on board, and we have since grown our home-based business out of the basement and garage and into a new facility (opening this summer!). Each of our products is made from premium materials because we believe that quality is of the utmost importance. Every piece is put through the ringer by Chris and Kathy before being available for purchase—and believe me, those two have some HIGH standards! The Modern Silo motto has always been, “Yes, we can do that,” because we believe that our customers often have the best ideas. We want to make items for your home and special events that you will be proud to display and that bring a smile to your face every time you see them. So much of our home décor is based on words, and that is intentional. We believe that words are powerful. We want to speak truth, love, and happiness into whomever is reading our signs.
