Besides being fun and calming, sensory kits have SO MANY BENEFITS to your child's growing mind and body.
Benefits of sensory play include
* development of language
* cognitive growth
* fine and gross motor skills
* problem solving and scientific thinking skills
* engaging many senses at once
And it aids the child's development in physical skills such as shaping, splashing, scooping, or molding that may require many different muscles to work together at once.
As with all children's products, adult supervision is required. Products that contain small parts may pose a choking hazard and should not be used by children under 3.
There should only be 2 rules for sensory kit play 1. No eating the kits 2. No dumping the kits. Just like with every skill a child learns, sensory bin play should be taught. They will pick it up very quickly, don't worry. But be proactive to show them the best play practices. We also suggest having a large towel or mat down under the tray for quick clean up and to set a boundary for the sensory play.
